#DUAMOODS, an industry-first Spotify playlist generator uses facial recognition technology and the user's listening history to create customized music playlists based on your mood. Fans can chat with Warner Bros. artist Dua Lipa, send her a selfie of how they're feeling and she'll send them over a playlist.
Fans were able to choose their backgrounds, emojis and even send GIFs to Dua Lipa if they were feeling camera shy.
Outcome
Dua Lipa fans loved this experience. They had a lot of fun creating and sharing their playlists and on socials. In the end, thousands of Spotify playlists were generated resulting in a significant amount of streaming for Warner Bros. Records artists. The campaign was nominated for a 2019 Webby Award in the Best Website: Entertainment category.
